    Most teens hide themselves in the shadows of society. You may not be one of them or have ever been one of them but trust me there are many out there. The quote "Our Deepest Fear" by Marianna Williamson is about not being afraid to live up to your fullest potential and to not hide in your own skin. You shouldn't hide away, you should be yourself because everyone else is already taken; besides where's the fun in life if everyone would be the exact same. When you're minimizing who you are and not living up to your fullest, it doesn't serve the world. The like that I find the most meaningful and inspiring in the quote is "It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us." (Williamson) Which in other words this means that it is not our weakness that most frightens us it is our strengths. I connect with this line because I have a low self esteem and the line it's saying to be yourself and not hide our strengths away from others. Everyone hides from society, but mostly us teens. Being a teenager you are supposed to follow trends and to fit in. So you never really get to be your true self. The quote is relevant to all teens, from the outsiders to the popular kids. Everyone should be themselves and live up to there fullest. If you look at the image to your right you will see a girl huddling in a corner of the room covering here face. I chose to include this image in my blog post because the girl in the corner symbolizes someone hiding away from society. So in the end why wouldn't you want to be your own unique self? Besides, everyone else is already taken.

Quotes are probably the most meaningful sayings of the world. Each quote has its own sense depending of its reader. Some people might see deeper meanings that others don't see. Quotes are also powerful sentences that easily come and touch us. The quote, Our Deepest Fear, (written by Marianne Willamson), can affect each and every one of us differently. This quote talks about self-esteem and how when we are confident we let the others around us do the same. When we have self-esteem in ourselves, we allow ourselves to do even better and we push ourselves at our best. Therefore, we then show the others around us that they can do the same. For example, when the quotes says, " It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.", ( Willamson ), it shows us that everytime you stand up for yourself and you do your best, other people will want to do the same. This quote also means that in each individual on this earth, there is a powerful brightness that should be pushed to our best and everyone should be allowed to let this brightness shine out.

Quotes were used centuries ago,the quote written by Marianne Williamson is one of a kind,attractive quote. There is a direct point and clearly says the main objective of this quote. As an example,the sentence "it is not in some of us,it is in everyone" makes me think of different people around the world helping each other and aging many points in common,which could be anything. I've chosen the line because in my opinion it will help people to reach their goal or objective. It can also help people not to be afraid of other people or things and that being scared is a fear that many people have.

Have you ever noticed how children find themselves pretty and perfect, while adults and teenagers aren't able to feel like this? We shouldn't change, we should want to stay the same. Most of us grew scared of our individual qualities is the worst thing that we could do for our society. People tend to hide their best features to fit in and to be accepted as "normal",but we do it unconsiously. Being awesome and knowing it isn't a shame. Why do we follow others path instead of making our own? The fact is that we are all unique.The line that made me think most in the quote is: "we are all meant to shine,as children do". I instantly pictured my sisters when they used to be proud of their looks and used to preform shows to the whole family. Then, they started noticing how people judge eachother and they stopped performing for the family. This probably happened as a result of their selfconciousness being more developed. We should show people to be themselves, it's the best thing to do for their loved ones and themselves.

I know this quote is good for you because everyone can relate to it because everyone has fears and everyone hides something about their personality. I can directly relate to this quote because for a long time I was saying to my classmates that I was bad at math meanwhile I had an 80% average in math. An other thing I can relate the quote to is this picture( picture of makeup) because makeup covers up your face it f hides your true face. The reason I can relate the picture and the quote is that the quote says to be yourself and makeup is hiding yourself and being superficial about how you look like. A part of the quote that helped me a lot of finding the meaning which is to be yourself is, Williamson's " Your playing does not serve the world". Finally did you ever think, life without fears?

Imagine a world where everyone is the same. Everyone all acts the same, dress the same, but mostly, act the same. It’s imaginable that that’s what’s going to happen. For the quote; `` Our Deepest Fear```, written by Marianne Williamson, made me realized that many people are afraid to show who they are, afraid of what the others might think. When in fact, everyone must do the opposite, since trying to be someone else won’t change anything. There is nothing good about hiding who you really are. Everyone needs to be proud of who and what they are, for fear shouldn’t be felt in something small like that. It should be felt when you’re actually being rejected, not before. As Marianne Williamson so perfectly said;

"we are all meant to shine, as children do."  

This simply means that when we’re kids, we aren’t afraid of other people’s judgements, because we were still so young and innocent. Photograph is a good way to re-do these childhood memories. We need to do the same when we grow up! Just like in these pictures, do what you want! Be who you are! Don’t be ashamed or scared of what some people think. It is those who time waste their time to be someone else, who should be scared of being the ``copy`` of a ``copy``.
