Many quotes may represent you, or represent someone you know with a special meaning. But the one great quote by Marriane Williamson represents us all. The quote called Our Deepest Fear is very powerful and makes us reflect on our own lives. The Global meaning of the quote Our Deepest Fear is to always give your 110%, because "Your playing small does not serve the world" (Williamson). Not giving your 110% does not do any good to you or the world, it just proves that you are lazy. But some people aren't lazy, they're scared of giving their 110% to not be judged or make other people uncomfortable. "Our deepest fear is that we are inadequate" (Williamson) But we all have our own light or quality that shines in us wether it's being able to run a marathon, do the split or eating a 12'' pizza in 30 seconds, it does not matter, go ahead and show people your talent, don't give a &@*$ of others ''Thoughts'' about you, they're just jealous. But please don't brag because that is really annoying, does Sidney Crosby or Connor McDavid brag about how good he is... No. A line in this quote that stood out for me is "Your playing small does not serve this world" (Williamson) Because let's face it, that line is spot on how life works. Giving your 110% makes you a better person, the world a better place or at least does a change. But not doing it, just does nothing and is no good to this world. I connect to it beacause, I am small, yeah so, in a hockey game I work harder than the others and I end up as good as 6' guys. If I wouldn't I would be a small person that sucked at sports because I'm "small". Giving my 110% made a change for me, pride, I said to the world "I may be small but I can stand tall" (Unknown) and maybe other small people will follow my example, "As we let our own light shine, we unconciensly give the others permission to do so" (Williamson)
A picture that represents this quote is a guy training, and many people following in the backround (I know it's a clone but it was the only one I could find) In the picture the guy trains hard, lets his light shine and gives the other the oppotunity to do so, so the people follow him and the world becomes a better place. The guy could of stayed inside to train to not be jugded. Many people look up to him, somthere are always little haters that are hating because they are jealous. So he did not give a damn about their thoughts, trained hard and now look were he is, one of he best quaterbacks in the NFL, Tom Brady. Or that guy who broke the world record for fast pizza eating :).

Many people in the world believe that their weaknesses are the cause of their deepest fear. What they are unaware of however, is that the thing that scares us the most is actually the act of expressing our uniquenesses. In the quote titled «Our Deepest Fear», written by Marianne Williamson, these statements characterize its global meaning; which is that we shouldn’t be afraid to express who we are. We all have strengths and weaknesses. Unfortunately, most of the time we feel the need to hide the best elements of our personality. Our beauty is what we fear the most because we are afraid of making others feel unworthy. The quote consists of a saying from Marianne Williamson, explaining that there is nothing good about hiding the finest parts of yourself to protect people around you from feeling insecure. In reality, we all have the right to let our beauty be seen. These diverse qualities in everyone should be appreciated, and not hidden because "Your playing small does not serve the world."(Williamson). This line from the quote really connected to a realization I had as a child. It refers to the fact that a person is not improving society by hiding their potential inside themselves that could be shining bright. I connect to this because I used to try to fail in school as a young child in order to escape being myself. I was scared that others around me would become jealous. I later on realized that playing small prevented me from discovering all of my capabilities. Society's branded social groups unfairly define what should and shouldn't be accepted. Other teenagers relate to this as well, since most of us feel the need to hide our greatnesses. The truthfulness about these aspects of life is well demonstrated in a particular image where a girl is holding a mask displaying a symbol of inner light restraint. She is hiding behind the image of herself perceived by society. The fear she carries to withhold her full personality isn't serving the world, as nobody can actually realize her potentially hidden life-changing qualities. This signifies that we should never under any circumstances; shrink ourselves down to anything less than who we are, because we are all perfectly different. Nobody should be afraid to reveal their true selves to society.

A quote is a quote, every meaningful quotes are very good. There is a reason why quotes have been used for such a long time to help inspire people. This quote's global meaning is that before trying to change others, be yourself. Being yourself will make other people also want to be themselves. "It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us." This meant that finding your strengths will always be harder than finding our weakness' or copying someone else. When you will find the light inside you, you won't want to be someone else. "It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us." This was the most meaningful line for me. Once I found what I was good in, I had less fear about being wrong. Everything suddenly became easier. To be succesful in life you have to let your light take over your darkness. Now that you have found your light, let it shine.

     You've probably already seen that person who does everything possible to try and fit in and ends up becoming a completely different person. Marianne Williamson describes this change or "fear" through her whole quote: Our Deepest Fear. People shouldn't change who they are just to be able to fit someone's liking and fit in. You should never be afraid of being judged for being who you are. "There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you." (Williamson). This particular line strikes me because it has two different meanings. First of all, that is exactly what I do. People like me don't like being in the spotlight because we like to give others a chance to shine, too. I don't want others to be alone in a corner without the chance of being the center of attention because I also don't want them to feel like I'm showing off or that I'm selfish. This line also describes how there is nothing good about changing who you are so that others will like you better. Just like the essential meaning of this quote. Imagine this beautiful girl with a great personality but isn't the type of girl with too many friends and is desperately trying to fit in with others. She changes her looks and starts acting differently. That is wrong and should not be happening to anyone. Everyone deserves a chance to be seen equally in the world. You should always be proud of who you are because you are unique in this world and it should never change.

Fear is not real, it is a product of our imagination. Don't get me wrong danger is completely real, but fear isn't.We all have different fears but we all have a common one, Making a change in the world (stopping racism for example).Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure, but This sentence from  Marianne Williamson's quote, our deepest fear, means a lot to me because some times I think to myself what it would be like if we never had all the ipod's, ipad's,ect. To me the meaning of this sentence is that every bodies deepest fear is to make a change in the world, because we FEAR that we will be judged by other people.The image represents this sentence because it says IF YOU CHANGE NOTHING, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. This quote connects well with Marianne sentence because our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure but if we change nothing and we FEAR to be judged by others we will change nothing!

People don't know their true strengths and weaknesses until they let their personality shine. Our Deepest Fear, a quote from Mrs. Williamson explains the discovery of your strenths and weaknesses but is also very interesting in many other ways. There are a few messages that are pretty captivating such as;"Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." This line mainly explains the discovery of yourself. Therefore, it is easier to connect no matter the reader. I think the main idea of this line is to show your strengths and weaknesses so that you can be comfortable with yourself. The fact that the quote says that our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure means we are more frightened of what we could accomplish and take the courage to do, than knowing that we could fail in so many ways. Another point that is interesting about the quote is that we don't like showing that we're different and so we like to be mainstream. People get too scared of being judged by others. In the line "There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you." proves my point because it says that not giving your full 100% will impact others around you negatively. The image that came to me when reading the quote is that we can't only determine someone's capacities by referring to their physical appearance.. The way you think and act makes a huge difference for people around you but mostly for yourself. You don't have to be scared of showing your true feelings and let your personality shine!

As we know, quotes shape our opinion, actions as well as the way we interact with our surrounding but this specific quote impacts a mindset due to its meaning and far out connections it establishes. This small paragraph shows to all the way you are socially seen in relation of your influenced mentality. The global meaning this text demonstrates are the consequences we have on our surrounding that are caused in two extroversive categories, showing our light and our darkness. The advantage of shining or perhaps, showing a positive image of yourself results in you giving axes to your surrounding (friend, family, enemies, etc…) to not only see your brightness but to somehow do the same o their side. From knowing the meaning, we can look in deatail the positive initial impact this quote has on the reader. A line in this text that has impacted me the most as the reader is the following, ‘’There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you.’’ This line cannot be better said. It shows everyone including you the benefits of being sincere about your emotions and opinions. We clearly see tht by being your fake self (your influenced mindset), you are not being beneficial for yourself but you are simply giving others the permission to underestimate your intelligence and potential. I like to relate this statement to a very plain simple picture of Mahatma Gandhi. What is significant in this picture is the dedication he had for his ideas. Gandhi’s life follows the same rules the poem stated in all its lines. He wasn’t scared of ridicule, he stood up for his nation and said his opinion’s as clear as they were in his mind. By doing so, Gandhi gave others the opportunity to realize the social problems befor 1947 but as well as to give others axes to his world vision and strength’s. We clearly see by this man’s story that being yourself makes people around you feel secure. Gandhi’s strength range from being a good public speaker to dedication where he used this in a constructive way. The change he has made wouldn’t have happened if he wouldn’t have shown his own mentality.

By reading this quote you can do the same as what Mahatma Gandhi did, you only have to be yourself to be the cause of your change. (Be the change you want to see in the world)!!!
