Blogs are so Annoying; So Why are You Reading This? By: Félix Bouchard

Why are you reading this? Blogs are annoying they're the new way of publicly giving your opinion, but hiding behind a computer doing so. It's like having a conversation with someone; the subject might be interesting but someone's opinion doesn't make it factual, therefore pointless.

"Blogging" is about sharing your thoughts on the internet, and obviously not all blogs are about happy thoughts. Many blogs are hateful. Bloggers hide behind computers to publicly bash on things. Sounds like Cyber bullying to me, but because it's a blog that makes it ok and funny. If people are offended all they can do is write a response, but the thing is that sticks and stones can hurt, but words can't.

As I've said blogs are about reading a someone's ideas, a little like having a conversation with someone. The thing is, thoughts aren't facts. Reading a blog is reading a stranger's opinion about something. This stranger could be a terrorist, a klan member or a prisoner brain washing people.

In conclusion, I believe that reading a stranger's opinion is ridiculous, the person on the other side of that computer might be a Taliban for all you know, and if he is a Taliban brainwashing everybody you can't do anything about it. Blogs are annoying because everybody talks about how great they are, but honestly; They are Useless.

Is Cursive Nessasary ?

Cursive is not only faster to write, but has benefits that go to the brain. Cursiveneeds to be taught! Cursive writing has so many advantages ! This is why it should be taught in every elementary school. I learn't cursive cursive in elementary school and it was VERY helpful!

Cursive develops the brain in a lot of positive ways. The development of the brain is very important and helpful. Science writer Maria Konnikova even says that " children not only learn to read more quickly when they first learn cursive but they also remain better at generating ideas and retaining information." In other words it's not only what we write that counts -- but how. I think this is a perfect example of one of the Benefits of cursive other than "it's faster". Psychologists discovered that cursive lights up three areas in the brain compared to when you type there is much less. Cursive is really an advantage to know how to write with, which is worth teaching in schools! It is definitely not a waste of time! We should ant to develop our brain the most we can.

Personally I have had many experiences with cursive and I know it's benificial. I've seen how cursive is helpful because I just recently learnt cursive and have really seen a difference, not only in the neatness of my handwriting but I can finally read my grandmothers birthday cards. Cursive writing compared to printing is more beneficial because the movement task is more demanding. The letters are less stereotypical , and the visual recognition requirements create a broader repertoire of letter representation. Cursive is more demanding for the brain therefor creates a challenge, this makes the brain used to challenges and that's why it should be taught.

To finish it all off cursive is important and should stay a known form of writing. Cursive challenges the brain therefor training it to become better. It also helps to develop the brain which everybody want, because the development of the brain is very important. Cursive should be brought back in all schools, so that's we can keep getting smarter!

Cheerleading: Sport or Activity? By Christopher Cusson

Every year, cheerleaders get concussions, break bones or even die. All this due to the lack of good staff and training. Cheerleading should be recognized as a sport. They do compétitions and contests, the cheerleaders are skillful and athletic. Also, by recognizing it as a sport, it would allow teams, or squads, to have good coaches and Equipment. I have a sister that did cheerleading, but she didn't have a specialized coach this year, so there is no cheerleading at her school this year.

First of all, many people say that cheerleading is not a sport, because they wear makeup, and say tey don't do much physical activity. These people don't even deserve to be taken in consideration, because makeup is part of the uniform, and the cheerleaders work so hard you can't imagine how strong they are.

Secondly, in the dictionary, sport is defined as "an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess, and OFTEN of a competitive nature." The cheerleaders surely do have skills, and many squads do compete in events and contests. Some squads don't but, OFTEN they do. So why not call it a sport?

Lastly, by recognizing it as a sport, we are opening a doorway to sponsorships and the opportunity of having specialized coaches and staff at schools. This would allow the cheerleaders to have good coaching, and prevent them from getting injured during a stunt which they are not ready for, or need more practice on.

As you can see, there is no reason why cheerleading is not a sport, so this is why we should recognize it as a sport. The athlètes are skillful and the activity is competitive, but it also would prevent them from getting injured during practices or compétitions. Let's not wait for another cheerleader to break her neck or get a concussion, let's recognize the sport of cheerleading!

What Do You Think Is Annoying? By Xavier Simard

Are there things that annoy you? Do you want the annoying things to stop? Then make a complaint or write a blog about it.

I am introducing 3 things that I find annoying: Teachers, disturbing/loud sounds, and people.

I think everything is annoying. Teachers never stop talking and its always work work work, so I find them annoying. Sounds are annoying because you can't sleep or focus, and things like loud music can hurt your ears. People and sounds are annoying because lots of things like loud music or people talking non stop loudly, or parents or people yelling at each other makes me angry and makes want to go shut them up while trying to fix their problems, which I usually do for my family who yell at each other sometimes, this is one reason why sounds and people are annoying.

Are there things that annoy you? Like not understanding what a good friend of yours says or what he/she finds cool for example, or sounds or people that are annoying? Then you should tell them to stop or lower the sound, or ask your good friend to have him/her help you understand, you'll feel a lot better then taking out pent up anger and going into a short frenzy on them. Writings things that annoy you and posting it online can help release anger too (probably), and have people understand you better.

Are there things that annoy you? Do you want the annoying things to stop? Then make a complaint, write a blog about it, or do something about it. The 3 arguments I introduced are things I or other people also find annoying, like teachers, sounds, and people. I think if there was something that annoyed me, I'd make it stop, polite or not, or endure and ignore it.

What do you know about the world by Marc-Antoine Déry

What do you think about getting about other people in the world ? 300 000 civilians are stuck in a rebel-held area in Aleppo, Syria, but did you knew it it. In all most every part of the world tradgedie, sadness, luck, violance and goodness are happening every day and all most 50% of the world don’t know about it. At first Tony Maddox the executive vice president of CNN said that in only 3 mounth he full the year planning. Because that he found so muche vent in other country. And because if we are inform of some tradgedie we could  help solving them. ‘’This is the first time when the judicious investment we’vemade in a proper international infrastructure are paying off, ‘’ Mr.Maddox Said.

In this world their is more n 50 country but more than 80% of the population don’t know more than 30of them. Did you know that in china a 6 years old boy was crossing a street and got hit by a car and no one was helping him. But every one were walking beside him like if they didn’t saw anything. I persenelly don’t think that this is even possible. I found strange that if you know that their is more than 300 000 civilians that are stuck in a rebel city you don’t give your best to help them out. And like Tony Maddox was saying there is so information that need to be eart but no one cares about them.  I found this sad for those people that cannot get ear when they want to say some thing importent about something that they found strange or sad.

Their is a lot of country, city region that are mistreted by bid company and powerful people. In soem country city are even controlled by company because they have money. And what I think is the worst in thst situation is the fact that they also control the pupolation of that city. In some country it’s even worst because people are loosing their right’s becauser of those incomprensive act. Like Tony Maddox was saying some time’s a simple act form an outside person or group can save a situation. If you check out this link (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/21/business/media/21press.html?_r=0) you will see what i mean.We could be in power to help them out but we are not informed of what is going on in the world. I fin dit really stupid that because we are not informed we cannot help other’s.

I think thet it is stupid that some of us are stop to help other because they are not informed enought. In conclusion some of us are mistreated all around the world by companies and people with power. But becasue we are not informe about what is going on in the world we can’t help them. 300 000 civilian are stuck in a rebel-held area in Aleppo, Syria, but did you knew it.

Caring about celebrities by jade b-v

Celebrities are normal people like us. The fact that they have a higher class job makes them more popular and important to the society. Why do we care ao much about them? People absess over them because of their looks, physical appearance, their popularity ect. Some can obsess so much to the point where their life depends on them. Here are three arguments of mine on this topic.

These stars are seen all over the news. I realise that other things are forgotten because of then such as; disasters, deseases, ect. We are becoming more careless of these important events. Why should we care more about them rathet thab real important new? I think that our society is becoming obsessed with them. The fact that we are intrigued by their personal lifes makes us forget about important things.

We all know that celebrities have great bodies. When exposed to people, mostly teens, it lowers their self esteem. I've heard about girls thinking that they are fat when thay arebperfectly fine. Everyone is perfect the way they are, so why change yourself? Celebrities mostly advertise by showibg their "perfect" body. I think we should have bigger sizes women to advertise  to boost up our self confidence. Our society these days only care about physical appearence!

I think that we care so much about celebrities because we are intrigued by their life. I also think that we take them as role models. It's nice to care about them but we shouldnt go that far when we care for them. They are not the most important people in our society! We
should'nt forget that.

Travelling Influences Thoughts by Vincent Leclerc

People mostly travel to see ancient architecture or to relaxe on the beach but do see what is happening on the other side of the street? Always seeing the good side of a place can influence the vision of everything being perfect but seeing the truth may get the peoples attention to help them. Discovering new land gives the privilage to learn and explore the world you live in. Travelling gives the opertunity to see and experiance different cultures. Also, it affects the humans thoughts of how to adapt to an environment.

If you ever visited a country far from your home land, you could see and feel the citizens culture. For example, going to China and seeing their God makes us maybe curious and interested to learn about how they see him and what has he done too change the communities lives. In Cuba, the society doesn't eat the same things as Canadiens eat. They cultivate different fruits and vegetables since their climate opertunates them. They also don't have as much varriety of alimants as we do. When seeing these little differences, our brain gets a better understanding of how good it's to be home.

Lastly, people do not realize how moving into an other country has changes. One of the major change is the climate. Compared to Quebec, Mexico is much more worm and humid. Human wants to live in a hot environment but does not know the consequences that comes with it. Most of warm places has bigger bugs and different disasters. Also, there is the smell! Some countries smell humidity, healthy, relaxing, polluted, or the Ocean. All these little changes could convince someone to never live there.

As you may consider, most people see the good side of somewhere and gets the impression of living in a well treated world. Travelling gives you the opertunity to discover new cultures and see how different climates may influence a lifestyle. If you ever get the chance to go on vacation, will you go see on the other side of the road?

Confident or Too Confident? by Tara Duquet

You might think being confident is great, but this generation has caused issues because they love themselves too much! Today, people are more self-centred than people in previous generations. Some people are even posting pictures/videos of them on social media saying they are better than everyone else. Because of changes in types of pictures posted on social media and an increase in bullying, people have realized this generation is different from the 80's generations.

First off, teenagers and young adults in the 80's generations did not have as much technology as we do today. One reason why I know this generation is more self-centred than previous ones is because of posts on social media like facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. Many boys and girls — mostly girls — post pictures of them showing off their bodies. Some people even post naked pictures! Yes, a picture in a swimsuit on the beach is fine, but nowadays young girls post pictures of them outside during the winter only wearing leggings and a crop top! That's what I call: TOO MUCH!! One of the worst parts is that parents have nothing to say about their children posting these kinds of pictures on internet. Another thing our generation is posting on social media, but are less common, are videos of them telling others that they are better than everyone. As a parent, I could not stand to see my children posting these kind of things.

People who don't like themselves are less likely to bully others. But in this generation, people love themselves more than before. This is why bullying has increased a lot in the last three decades. According to the NCES — National Centre for Education Statistics — since 2003 bullying percentage has increased of 24.5%. Only in the past 12 years! Imagine how much it has increased since the 1980's! Today, people don't only bully for fun, people bully because they literally think others are nothing. Bullies may also be some of the people that show off their bodies on internet.

This is why I know people love themselves too much. It is sad how today, people are more self-centred that people in previous generations. Next time you are around teenagers or young adults, look at how they treat everyone, and look at what pictures they post on social media. To you, was the 80's generation better or worse than the one we live in today?

A Waste of Learning Time by Maxime Paquet

Cursive writing, was it a fun and exciting  subject to learn about and more importantly, was it worth learning? The answer is probably no. Cursive is not necessarily required and/or useful in adult life. It wastes a part of elementary school that could be used to learn other things or improve other subjects. Cursive writing is rarely used in other years of our life other than elementary school.

To start off cursive is a waste of time. This time could be used to improve other learning subjects. Elementary school students could even learn other subjects. When I think back to cursive writing I can only remember checking the clock since it was such a boring class. After grade 4 I never heard of cursive writing nor had to write in cursive. Our cycle 2 teacher said it was important and would be greatly used in high school. My cycle 3 teacher did not even mention cursive ounce! So what use those it have? If it would still be used this blog would not even had existed.

Secondly when we enter high school it is not even used. We can choose to write like this but it limits to that. How can it be on cycle 2 subjects if it is not used later? Most people don't remember how write in cursive. Cursive writing is also more complicated to learn and harder to remember. As the way life goes, it is so not used that it will probably not be taught any more. If people don't use cursive, they will forget how to use it.

To conclude, cursive wastes learning time and is not of a great use in the future. Cursive writing wastes part of the learning time and is not required in adult life. The first reason is I consider it a loss of time. The second reason is it only relates to cycle 2. How great, wasting time, scratching our heads to learn cursive while it is not even used.

Generation Me By Julia O'Gallagher

Let's face it, our generation is way more selfish than the one before us. What happened to spending time with family and taking pictures just for souvenirs? 30 years ago the concept of a selfie didn't exist, today that's all we hear about. Some of the products we use these days seem to suggest being self-centered. Being self-centered doesn't lead anywhere, it only shuts you out from reality.

You might think I'm crazy for saying this but, kids these days have it made. Teenagers especially, are often way too caught up in there own lives to care about others and what goes on around them. You'll notice that lots of people our age don't pay attention to what goes on around them. They're too busy updating their Facebook status or checking how many likes their picture got on Instagram. The most common devices around us also seem to have an effect on us: iPods, iPads, iPhones, etc. The name says it all. Even songs we listen to have lyrics are less and less inclusive. They have been studied and they contain more "I" and "me" in them than "you" and "us". If these facts don't say selfish, what does?

The next thing I want to talk about is our generation's attitude towards others. We don't say thank you to bus drivers, cashiers or teachers. We don't hold the door for the person behind us and we act without thinking about how it will affect others. I have seen this so many times since I have been at school: "But, I have the right to do this" students say this all the time to teachers or other adults when they get in trouble. You might have the right to do something stupid but, you really don't have to. Not saying "thank you" can make you look too self-centered to care anything or anyone besides yourself. Not holding the door for the next person can also give people around you the feeling that you don't care. What do you do? Do you ignore others or do you thank them for what they have done for you?

To finish off, our generation is selfish, rude and can be ungrateful. Instead of the "I" in iPod, why not use "we"? All I want to say is to take off your earphones and look up from your phones. Share a smile and say "thanks". Just that could make someone's day.

Our big obsession by Alicia Avery

Are we too obsessed with celebrities? They are just normal people who need attention. Many children want to look like them but are we really obsessed? Whenever I hear today's music, I figured that they only talk about drugs, sex or cars. Now, I know that not everyone likes Celine Dion but she is one of the artists who always has a deep meaning in her songs. So, are we too obsessed with all this celebrity thing?

I always ask myself why people care about things like beauty, popularity and if you are thin or not. I have better things to do such as doing my work in school and pursuing my dream of becoming a singer. I want to become a singer simply because I really enjoy singing and I want to do what I love everyday. Not because of fame. Why is our society obsessed with celebrities? My opinion is that people wish they had the "celebrity life", a life where they can have anything they could ever want, popularity throughout the globe and the most expensive things money can buy.

Teenagers are being affected even though they don't know it. I've heard many girls saying that they are too fat and wish they were skinny like Paris Hilton and others who have lost a lot of weight and who are now really slim. Teens all over the world are influenced by actors, singers and models. They want to dress, talk and act like them even though they don't admit it. Some would be ready to do anything to look like their favorite celebrity including plastic surgery. When you get plastic surgery, there's about 85% chance of you regretting to have done it.

One thing that really bothers me is this magazine called star. It only shows stories about celebrities! They never show or write the lives of everyday people and the problems they go through. It is as if celebrities were the only ones to have hard lives. To this magazine, they think that fashion and how you look is the most important thing. They judge artists on how they dressed, they comment on their faces and compare their dress to another
by saying mean things about it. They comment on non-important things of everyday life but we still read this magazine and love it. We give ourselves permission to judge people we don't even know and that we have never even spoken to.

My answer is yes, we are too obsessed about celebrities, people who care only about themselves and will never do anything to help the people in need and less fortunate. Of course, there are some exceptions such as Angelina Jolie who does contribute her time to help the people in need around the world. So, instead of trying to know more about celebrities` lives, spend your time in your community to make our world a better place. Instead of caring about them, be a celebrity in your own community.

Time consuming, and almost useless, is cursive worth to learn? By Mika Dopheide

When you were in third or fourth grade, we all learned how to write cursive. But, how often do you use it? Elementary schools shouldn't be teaching cursive writing. Schools in this generation are teaching cursive, in the third grade. While in the past this skill was mastered throughout grade three up to six. Schools simply don't have time to teach this skill, students need to learn real subjects. The younger generation in the 21st century don't need cursive, with all the smartphones and computers we now use.

In the 21st century, is cursive a necessary skill? Kids have the power of internet and technology in their hands. Therefor, it isn't a useful way of writing. On computers, people all use the standard English alphabet (I'm pretty sure you know that if you're here). I remember my teachers trying to "fool" us into learning cursive, saying it would help us when taking notes in high school. But they never quite imposed on having us write cursive. It was a waste of time for both the teacher, and the students.

Secondly, schools don't have time to teach cursive. Teachers want to use their time on real subjects, what's going to help their students in the future.[Again] I remember my third grade teacher giving us five classes (approximately) to learn the whole cursive alphabet. My peers and I were getting nervous, thinking there would soon be a test. But the test never came. Our teacher had probably thought it was a waste of time, and rushed the chapter. She had never really taught us how to write cursive, all she did was give us worksheets. Truthfully, I don't even remember how to write cursive!

Ultimately, cursive has never served me. My teachers, just disregarded cursive in their learning. It also never helped me when taking notes in high school. Therefor, cursive writing shouldn't be taught at all. It wastes precious time for a students learning. It also isn't a relevant skill in the 21st century. I wonder if our standard alphabet will be "extinct" like cursive, in the future!

Is Cheerleading a sport? by Emerick Beaulieu

Is cheerleading a sport? Let's put this question in a more appropriate manner. Is practicing a sport that requires a complex set of technical skills, physical fitness and real guts a sport? Yes it is. Cheerleading should be considered a sport. For some people, cheerleading only sends the image of pompoms and pleated skirts. However, it requires as much physical fitness and as much technic as any other sport.

First of all, the use of physical fitness is one of the main criteria for an activity to be considered a sport. As some people would think, cheerleading is not only about pompoms and pleated skirts. It's about strength. Some tricks cheerleaders do are very hard physically. cartwheels and twirls may look banal, but they require a lot of strength. especially if you are in a competition and making tones of them. Also tossing someone in the air and then catching him is very demanding. An average women weights about 155 lb. This is very heavy especially if you consider the height they are throwing them in the air. Catching someone is even harder since as they fall the person will accelerate making it harder for the person to catch. So I'd put a check mark on that criteria.

Secondly, another very important criteria you need to fulfill is the presence of technic. Have you ever noticed how every move cheerleaders do seems to be so easy and graceful. This is because there is a lot of technical skills in each of them. Cheerleaders practice very hard to ameliorate their technic. A cheerleading choreography is very similar to an acrobatic dance. Dancing is considered a sport, so why not cheerleading? It is way harder to make flips look good than sliding movements and turning around. you also need a lot more technic because flips and and throwing people in the air is very dangerous. So, I think that this criteria is also fulfilled.

In conclusion, cheerleading has about all the criterias needed to be a sport. It should, therefore, be considered as one. Physical fitness and technical skills are required in cheerleading almost more than in any other sports. So for all the people who say that cheerleading is not hard, try it first. An activity who uses physical fitness and technical skills should be considered as a sport.

Family Actually By Catherine Mailly

What is the most important thing to you in life? Is it money? Is it your job? Or even your car? There are millions of possible answers to this question, but one comes back more often than the others. Family. But what is it exactly? I think that family cannot be defined because it takes a different aspect to each and every one of us. Some consider that family is only blood relatives, others will think DNA doesn't matter. There are so many recomposed families after all. It's a personal choice.

The first group I thought about represents the cliché, the stereotypical family:  both parents raising their children. People who think that this is the only definition possible of a true family are becoming rarer with time. However, in the 1950's for example, this was the only sort of family people could imagine. There was no homosexual marriages, no multiracial marriages and almost no divorces. This mentality really has changed and the definition of a family (if there's one) has too. This perfect little family sometimes includes a pet or two, but besides that, it is a very closed circle, extremely hard to penetrate. Does it means the ones inside that circle aren't feeling trapped? I would say it depends.

The second possible definition of a family is the following: a group of people who cares and stands-up for you. It's simple, isn't it? My philosophy is that family should be simple. I don't think that DNA and lineage should matter as much as they do currently. Yes, we have to take care of our blood relatives, but what about others? You know somebody since so long that this person is almost like a brother or a sister to you? What keeps you from treating that person a such way? We should be more open to it. Everybody should quit trying to enclose themselves in a tiny circle impossible to break through. Why don't you welcome your father's girlfriend or your new step-father's children in your circle? Your family can be whatever you want it to be. It cannot be defined, remember?

The last group can create the most diversified types of families: people who consider their friends as their true family. The one they picked for themselves in a certain way. There are moments in your life when your friends can bring to you things that your parents or your brothers and sisters can't. Friendship is such a magical thing! You are not forced to like or to endure these people. You just are with them because you want to. Plus, you can meet new ones everyday and enlarge your family each time. Friends don't necessary share your DNA, your skin tone or your genes and it just makeseach of them more special. A rainbow wouldn't be as beautiful if it had only one color, right?

Family has a different face to each of us. It can be large, small, multiracial, it can share your DNA or not... Everybody has its own perception of what a family should look like. Should it be a rainbow with one or many colors? It's as you wish. Should it be composed of your friends? Or of your relatives only? Or of both? I won't give you the answers to all of these questions. You will have to find them yourself.

The Endangered Art of Cursive Writing by Florence Clément

As time goes on, less and less people write in cursive, which is not a good thing because they are missing all the benefits of cursive writing. Elementary schools should keep teaching this art of writing, as it is a precious skill that everyone should own. Many experts have extensive knowledge of the gifts cursive writing has for us and our brain. Unfortunately, a lot of people still think that cursive writing is a useless, time wasting type of writing.  Schools should not miss this great opportunity of teaching cursive writting.

First of all, let's see what experts think about the benefits of cursive writing. Some explain that children who write in cursive generate more words and ideas than those who type. It can also help the brain to develop categorization skills, which helps to improve its capacities faster . So, let's imagine that you are an important person that does not know how to write in cursive, and that you need to sign a contract. Wouldn't you be afraid to sign a important paper in block letters ? If not, you should be. Signatures should always be written in cursive, because it decreases the chances of forgery. Elementary schools should continue to teach cursive writting because of its various benefits.

Second of all, cursive writting can help some people get smarter in some subjects that require note-taking activities, like math. Some teachers say that since they made their students take notes in cursive, they have become more good at remembering their notes. As we write in cursive, three areas of our brain get activated. The fusiform gyrus, the  inferior frontal gyrus and the posterior pariental cortex.  These may be weird names, but they play an big role in the development of our brain and can help us remenber certain things. Cursive writing doesn't help us  at school only, but also in everyday situations. One of my friends, who is enrolled in an archeology program, was once studying for an important history test, and she needed to read The Declaration of Independence, which was written all over in cursive writting. Since she didn't know how to read cursive, she didn't do well on her test. See ? Elementary schools should continue to teach cursive writing because, later on, if you don't know how to read or write in cursive, it can create problems.

As technology improves, less people write in cursive due to the fact that with  new technologies, it is easier and less complicated to write, because now, we can type. Elementary schools should still continue to teach cursive writing because it is an important skill that everyone should have. This form of writing helps develop our brain, can help us at school, at home and allows us to create unique signatures. We should not let time steal away this amazing art.

Is It Helping Us Or Hurting Us? By Mike C

It's 3:10 and should be over. But is it really? Homework still needs to be done. Many people have their own differnt opinions on homework. And I'm going to give you mine. Does homework really help you learn or is it just a waste of our time? These are some reasons why I think homework is a waste of time and doesn't help you learn. It can be stressful, and school days are already long enough.

Have you ever come home from a long day at school and have so much homework that you don't know where to start? Do you try to do what you can? Or, do you ended up not doing it? This has definitely happened to me! Homework is meant, to help students learn, but in the end, it can stresses kids/teens out. One main effect is too much stress gets you to sleeping problems. Which, we all know that if you don't have a good nights sleep you're not going to learn as well as you could of. I find that if homework starts giving students stress problems it is not going to help them. So we shouldn't have homework.

I don't know if its only me but when I get home I'm glad to be home. I'm tired and the last thing I want to think about is more schoolwork. The average teen goes to school for 6-7 hours a day; basically from 9am-3pm with lunch breaks and breaks between classes. So when you get home you don't  want to do 1 hour and 30 minutes of extra schoolwork. You just want to relax watch some TV, play video games. So we have to think to ourselves if we can't teach it students all they need to know and practice in 6-7 hours days do we need to know all this information. Some students play sports after school, and just don't have time to do homework. Now I know school comes before fun but we also need to move and be active. We can't spend all day sitting in a class and expect us to do more work at home for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Evidently, we shouldn't have homework because it stresses kids\ teens out. School days are already long enough! Homework does not help students learn. So what do you think? Should we have homework or should teachers stop giving students it? Just please give us a break!
