Our Strengh by; Shawn Dube

In Marianne Williamson's quote Our Deepest Fear, she explains that it's important to show your strengthens to others. Most teens hide their strengths sometimes, because they're afraid or being judged or worse not fitting in. This is what Williamson means when she says: "It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us." Our strengths are the things that we're good at. If  we could just drop our fears, we could use our light (strengths) to accomplish our goals. In my opinion, everyone has something they are good at and things that they need to work on. For example, I'm good at math and some sports like football. But, I have some challenges with my French class, because I'd rather throw my books like a football, then read them. Not being good, or actually being good at something shouldn't make us afraid to be ourselves. Williamson's quotes makes me want to show my strengths not hide them. At the same time, work or my weaknesses so it can one day become a possible strength.  By choosing to shine my light, I'm giving other people permission to do the same. So, why do the same and don't be afraid to shine!
