This is a great line that helps you understand the meaning of everyone's real fear. Could you imagine a world where nobody shows their real side and only their fake side? Sadly, this is our world. Everyone is scared of showing their strengths, by fear of being juged. Everyone is scared of showing their "light" because they dont have enough self-esteem and they feel that they will be the only ones showing their "light", this makes me think back to the quote that I read. At the end of the quote is says "as we let our own light shine we uncounciously give others permission to do the same" and this explains my first quote. Everyone is scared to show their light and to be different, because nobody has been the first one to be "the change". Be the change in the world and you will allow others to do the same. This quote makes me think about an image of someone blinded by light. This image links back to the quote because the person is scared of the light in front on him, because he was in the darkness his whole life.
