Concussion - Ludvic Girard

Whether it's in football, soccer, rugby or any other sport the concussion rate has increased a lot.  Not only is it dangerouse, it is the impact in the future for the person who has suffered from it.  For example, I have suffered from a couple of concussions myself and every time I come to do a hit in football my head sometimes sometimes hurts due to this.  In the present day, some parents don't want their children to play contact sports because of all those concussions.  Their are a lot of research being done to show how dangerous a concussion can be.  It can even have long term effects on the brain.  This is a message to all athletes who have suffered from a concussion to be more aware and how dangerous it can be.

  1. Concussions are such a hot topic in sport right now! I think you have delivered a very good wake-up call to athletes. What has been your experience? How many concussions have you have? What did it feel like? How long did you have to miss competition? Does this worry you? I would love to hear a bit more about your experience.

  2. It's real concussions are starting to become very dangerous. Researchers should do something about it, for example, a helmet that would fully protect you from concussions! Derek lague

  3. It's great that your speaking of concussions because we pay not much attention on those types of injuries. We need to prevent them because I personally had a concussion and I still have side affects as well as other people do.
